Frequently asked questions

Ranges, timelines, materials, insurance and coverage around Uvita. If your case is unusual, message us and we’ll walk through it.

What does a full respray typically cost?

A professional booth respray in Costa Rica often starts around ₡450,000 for a compact car in factory color and can go higher for SUVs, color changes or pearls. The real number comes from photos, inspection and actual panel scope — never a guess.

How long does full paint or structural frame work take?

Full paint: commonly 7–14 business days depending on prep, color and weather. Structural work: 5–20 days depending on damage. We give a range after diagnosis — we don’t promise dates by eyeball.

How do photo quotes over WhatsApp work?

Send one wide shot, a close-up of the damage and, if you can, year/make/model. We check framing and may ask for another angle. That gives a clear estimate. If we need to see structure or alignment, the next step is an in-shop inspection.

What vehicle brands and classes do you work on?

Any brand: sedans, pickups, SUVs and light commercial vehicles — within what our team and equipment can stand behind. If it’s outside our scope, we say so up front instead of taking the job anyway.

Do you handle insurance paperwork?

We don’t collect payment directly from insurers. We do prepare labour, materials and photo documentation for your adjuster or agent. You run the claim; we do the repair properly and document it.

What makes your shop different from a “dealer-authorised” paint-only shop?

The difference is process: controlled booth, cure cycles, branded systems and structural measurement when it matters. Many shops “spray paint”; we measure, pull structure when needed, then paint — with a written warranty and no rushing.

Which paint brands and chemicals do you use — and why does it matter?

Roberlo, BESA, 3M and VICCO in the right stack for substrate and color. The full system (primer, base, clear, mixing) drives durability, color match and warranty work. No random cans off the shelf.

How do I book, and where are you in Uvita?

Coordinate by WhatsApp. Posted hours (Mon–Sat, 8–5) are the frame; we confirm day-to-day based on load and job type. We’re in Uvita, Puntarenas, Costa Ballena — the public pin is on Google Maps; we share street-level detail when we lock a drop-off.

Which areas do you serve — Dominical, Ojochal, Uvita?

Drivers and residents across the South Zone of Puntarenas, including Uvita, Dominical, Ojochal, Bahía Ballena and nearby towns, with realistic timing. If distance is borderline, we discuss it before booking.

Payment methods and cancellation policy?

Usually cash and SINPE transfer. For longer jobs we agree milestone deposits in writing before we start. If you can’t make a confirmed drop-off, tell us early: rescheduling is normal; if you no-show a reserved bay, the next available slot will reflect the rules we agree on when we confirm.

What should I bring on drop-off or pick-up day?

Vehicle paperwork, full key set and, if relevant, parts or accessories tied to the repair. At delivery we do a visual check under light, a signed checklist, and aftercare notes (e.g. don’t stack cargo on fresh clear) — explained in person or in a clear message.

How does the warranty work — and what is never covered?

Each job carries a written warranty on our workmanship (prep, correction, application) per the agreed scope. It doesn’t cover new impacts, third-party rework on top of ours, harsh chemicals splashed on upholstery, or abuse. Exact limits also live on the warranty page and your work order; if something qualifies, we document it and fix it under the agreed warranty terms.
